Still on air today, this campaign has worth Snatch the Cenacolo 2001 Special Award. The 2001 edition of the jury was chaired by Umberto Eco.
"Gente di Italia1 campaign has been rewarded for being able to renew the television communication style. The language used, spontaneous and immediate, the images shot with digital cameras to "low definition" refer to the language of experimental videos and video clips. This choice of language flips the traditional balance between the television and the viewer which become the author of the images, is aimed at young people and establishes a relationship with the active and not passive tv."
